Notes
(*1) Note: If no diploma has been obtained yet at the time of application, send a detailed Transcript of Records of the completed study years, as well as a signed statement from your university that the diploma is expected to be delivered prior to the start of the IMFSE programme. In addition, provide a legalised copy of your proof of registration or student card.
(*2) Note: if your reference person prefers to send their recommendation letter confidentially, please indicate if this is the case. Their letter can be sent by regular mail to our contact address. There is no template for the recommendation letters.
Selection Criteria
Pre-selection and admission decisions are based on a combination of factors, including academic degrees and records, language skills, the applicant's motivation, recommendations, test scores and relevant work experience (if applicable). The selection board may also take into account institutional reputation and international league tables.
In case of non-selection and if you have grounds to believe that your application file has not been processed properly through the selection procedure, you can start an appeal procedure by sending a letter to the IMFSE secretariat by registered post. The letter should clearly state the reason for the appeal. The appeal must be lodged within 30 days after the communication of the selection results from the IMFSE secretariat. The consortium will verify whether your file was eligible and whether the selection has been carried out correctly. The IMFSE secretariat will communicate by e-mail the outcome of the appeal procedure within 30 days after receiving the appeal letter.
